leaded by Gabriele Pomilio and instituted by the most well-known
personalities in the international Waterpolo world as Ratko Rudic,

This is an international Website. Its aim is to promote Waterpolo all

our tournament. The countries representated will be: Croatia,

The Organizing Commitee of 1st “HABAWABA BABY FESTIVAL”
inform you that there are some variations about point III of
“Registration/Rules” (http://www.habawaba.com/tournament.htm):
- In order to allow a wide selection, also cheaper than before, of
hotels for people that will follow the teams we have displayed a first
list of available and agreed hotels (http://www.habawaba.com/where_ita.htm).
It is necessary for booking to call directly the selected hotels. After
the confirmation please send us a mail with the data of in-out.
- The cost of transfers from hotels to the structure “Hyppo Kampos
Resort” during the tournament is € 30,00 per person with max 4
(four) transfer/day.

including in the festival of the new category formed by players borned
in years 1997-1998, the deadline for the
registrations has been postponed to the 29th March 2008.

The Organizing Committee informs that a "Festival Kit"
formed by: 1 small bag, 1 t-shirt, 1 towel, 1 cap, 1 no-stress ball,
will be give to all the participants at the "1st Habawaba Baby Festival
2008". All the technical equipment will be produced by "TURBO".

An important international convention will be held during
the "HaBaWaBa Baby Festival", planned at Hyppo Kampos Resort in
Castelvolturno (Na). The subject of the convention will be “Child
and ball approach the water”.
This convention, promoted by Waterpolo Development, will
be a good opportunity of meeting and cultural and professional widening
for foreigner and Italian coaches. At the end of the convention, a
participation certificate will be given to all participants.
Professor Giorgio Gatta, from Bologna University,
will speak about “Development of Waterpolo as game in water”,
while Sandro D’Ercole will speak about “Motor-visual
coordination in young Waterpolo players”.
Umberto Marini will deal with “Children
approach to physical training” and then will explain the
Code of Conduct drawn up by himself. Copy of this code will be explained
and given to every young player in HaBaWaBa Festival, because the most
important aim of HaBaWaBa is to form men for the future, and not only
Waterpolo players.
Psychologist Silvia Soccio, speaking about “game
as psycho-cognitive development”, will clarify the
importance of the motivational aspects.
An Hungarian coach will explain the formative experience, realized in a
Waterpolo-high-developed country.
Entry fee will be communicated as soon as possible to Italian coaches.

The Organizing Committee of the “1st
HABA WABA BABY FESTIVAL 2008“ owing to many requests coming both from
the European National Federations and from their affiliated Clubs and
as suggested by LEN, decided to organize, besides the event reserved to
8 and 9 aged players, a second event reserved to
10 and 11 aged kids of
both genders (born in years 1997 and 1998). Both events will be held at
the same time from June 26th to June 28th, 2008 in
Castelvolturno at the Hyppo Kampos Resort. All other participation
conditions, already transmitted and known, will remain unchanged.
