First day of HaBaWaBa Plus U13 and tournament Phase A have just finished. Teams that have placed first and second in every group go to group G1-B1 of Phase B: they will play to win the tournament. Other teams will be in group G2-B1, that defines placements from 9 to 16. In Phase B teams will keep the points gained in Phase A and will not play against opponents they have already matched with in Phase A.
Spunzillo Salerno 03, Ferencvaros, Barcelona and Plebiscito Arechi have won every matches they played in Phase A. Partizan, Akademija Cattaro, Mentalfitol Szeged and YBL Budapest have placed seconds and are still on the run for the trophy.
Many people have watched games in the olympic pool: Barcelona vs Mentalfitol Szeged, top match of group G3, was the game most crowded. Catalans won 6-3.
After day 1, Plebiscito Arechi has the best attack of the tournament (49 goals), Barcelona the best defense: just 6 goals against.

The teams have perfectly adjusted to the new rules, specially the one for which an attacker can not stand in front of the goal and up to 5 meters for more than 5 seconds during the game in equal numbers. The game is faster and the score is no longer determined by one player, the center. Also we had a good responce from the audience: families have arrived from Hungary, Catalonia and Salerno and many more will come tomorrow”.
