As the U9, also the U11 players have a workshop for them at HaBaWaBa International Festival. Its name is “Kids Save Lives – Life Saving is a Play”, organized by the Italian Resuscitation Council Foundation (IRC), a no-profit association that aims to teach and to spread the cardiopulmonary resuscitation method. The basic idea of that workshop is that anyone could save a life, even a child. “We want to raise awareness about cardiopulmonary resuscitation – Luigi Zanin of IRC said – and we hope that the kids will be able to transmit their families as much as they have learned about”.

IRC teach kids the resuscitation technique through a game that leads children through all the emergency’ stages: understanding the symptoms of an heart attack, starting a rescuing call and an heart massage, performed following the music. “Some kids start dancing while they are performing it. It’s a great way to learn how to save a life”.
