First time for Athens. Starting tomorrow (July 20th), the amazing Glyfada Nautical Sports Club will host the first edition of HaBaWaBa Greece, a new stage for HaBaWaBa International Circuit: it follows HaBaWaBa North America, held in Montreal (Canada) from July 6th to 12th, and it precedes HaBaWaBa Egypt, that will be organized next December in Hurghada.

HaBaWaBa Greece 2016 will be attended by 24 teams. The event, organized by Delta I.S.O. Sports Events Service thanks to the agreement with Waterpolo Development, will have two different tournament, one for 11U category and 9U category. It will be an international event, thanks to 20 teams coming from Greece and 4 coming from Egypt.

The HaBaWaBa Greece potential was recognized by Greek Olympic Committee (E.O.E.), who chose to support the competition. As every HaBaWaBa happening, also in Athens the two tournaments will be combined with other events dedicated to the kids. Among these, there will be the educational and recreational workshops, organized with the support of great international partners as Lego and Bic.

Furthermore, HaBaWaBa Greece will host the Greece International Team that will join Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics: kids will have the unique chance to meet, talk and get to know their waterpolo idols.

Athens wanted to make a big deal out of it for its first step into the HaBaWaBa world: so good luck, HaBaWaBa Greece. Actually, Καλή τύχη!
