The HaBaWaBa International Festival is the center of the HaBaWaBa universe, which contains a large number of other global events. From July 6th to 12th, for example, Montreal (Canada) will host the 2nd edition of HaBaWaBa North America, organized thanks to the agreement between Waterpolo Development DJ Global Wave owned by Dragan Jovanovic.

Many new HaBaWaBa events are just around the corner. Villaggio Ge.Tur is hosting Ilias Dalainas and George Polychronopoulos from Delta I.S.O., the company that is organizing HaBaWaBa Greece, scheduled in Athens July 20th to 23rd; also Sherif Amin and Raouf Nour from S-Team Sports Management came to Lignano Sabbiadoro: they are arranging HaBaWaBa Egypt, scheduled in Hurghada December 28th 2016 to January 4th 2017. After visiting the Villaggio Ge.Tur, they all met Waterpolo Development president Lucio Pisani and members of WPD Board Bartolo Consolo, Bruno Cufino, Yiannis Yannouris and Emanuele Zanatta to talk about how they develop their respective events, realized thanks to the agreements with WPD. The numbers of HaBaWaBa Greece are promising: the first edition will host 40 teams from Greece, France, Netherlands and Egypt at the Glyfada Nautical Sports Club in Athens. The target of HaBaWaBa Egypt is ambitious, aiming to receive 50 teams from Europe, North Africa and Middle East at the magnificent Senzo Sporting Club of Hurghada.

The meeting was also attended by Fabio Henrique of ABDA Baura, Brazilian club that aims to organize an HaBaWaBa tournament in Brazil, thanks to the collaboration with the local federation (CBDA): that event would add South America to the HaBaWaBa international circuit, helping WPD to spread waterpolo and sports values to the children in that area. Among the new events, another tournament is already scheduled for 2017: the HaBaWaBa UAE in Dubai.

We’ll keep you posted on HaBaWaBa.com about news and details regarding each new event. Stay tuned: the world has got the fever for the HaBaWaBa!
