HaBaWaBa Belarus – the first stage of the HaBaWaBa International Circuit in Eastern Europe – , ended today at the Regional Olympic Reserve Center for Water Sports in Brest, Belarus. It was a perfectly organized event, which was participated by 20 teams and 280 little athletes coming from 7 different countries: Azerbaijan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. 

The finals of the two tournaments were held this morning. In the 11U category victory went to Russian Sbornaya of Perm Krai, who defeated 9-7 Ukrainian Eurosport Lviv: it was a great satisfaction for the team coming from the Urals, which arrived in Brest after an incredible two days and 2,500 km trip. 

In the 13U category, Ukrainian Water Polo Club Lviv triumphed 9-8 over Brest. 

Also the Fair Play trophies were awarded, Brest Junior won in the 11U category and to the Russian Nevskaya Volna in the 13U category. 

Teams were awarded during the final ceremony, which turned into a big party for all of the participants. HaBaWaBa Belarus will come back in 2020 for its 2nd edition.
